02 Who we are

TekConnected ("we", "our", "us") is the data controller for any personal information collected through this Site. We are an independent monday.com Certified Partner that builds CRM, project-management and automation systems for project-based businesses.

03 What we collect

3.1 Information you give us directly

• Contact details: name, work email, phone number, company name.
• Operational context: the description of your business, current tools, team size, and pain points that you share with us in a form, on a call, or by email.
• Booking metadata: the date, time and timezone of any strategy call you schedule.

3.2 Information collected automatically

• Site analytics: aggregated, non-identifying data about how the Site is used — pages viewed, approximate region, referring source, device type. We use this to understand which content is helpful and which is not.
• Technical logs: standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, request timestamp) retained for security and abuse-prevention purposes for a limited period.

3.3 What we do not collect

• Payment card data — payments for paid engagements are handled by separate, PCI-compliant providers under the relevant SOW.
• Sensitive personal data (health, biometric, political opinion, etc.).
• Data about people you don't want to share — only submit information you have the right to provide.

04 How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and run a strategy call with you.
• To prepare a proposal or Statement of Work, if we agree to proceed.
• To deliver, support and improve the system we build for you under an SOW.
• To run and secure the Site (logging, abuse prevention, performance).
• To meet legal and accounting obligations (e.g., invoicing records).

We will not use your information for purposes incompatible with the ones above without asking you first.

05 Legal bases (where applicable)

Where data-protection law (e.g., GDPR / UK GDPR) applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Contract: processing necessary to respond to your request, to put a contract in place, or to deliver work under an SOW.
• Legitimate interest: running and protecting the Site, understanding which content is useful, replying to business enquiries.
• Legal obligation: retaining records required by tax, accounting, or other applicable law.
• Consent: for any optional marketing communication, only where you have specifically opted in.

06 Tools we use

We use a small number of vendors to operate the Site and our business. The categories are:

• Hosting & CDN: to serve the Site.
• Email: to receive and reply to your enquiries.
• Calendar / scheduling: to let you book a strategy call.
• Analytics: aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics about how the Site is used.
• monday.com: the platform we build inside on your behalf, for paid engagements.
• Accounting: for invoicing under paid engagements.

Each of these vendors is bound by their own terms and processes data only as needed to provide the relevant service. Where required, we have data-processing agreements in place.

07 How long we keep it

• Contact-form & enquiry data: for as long as the conversation is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months) to retain context if you come back.
• Engagement data: for the duration of the engagement plus the retention period required by tax / accounting law.
• Server & analytics logs: short-term, typically days to weeks.

08 Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• The vendors described in section 6, as needed to operate the Site and our business.
• Professional advisers (e.g., accountants) under confidentiality.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to do so.

09 International transfers

Some of our vendors are located outside your country. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, or vendor-level certifications) to protect it.

10 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Receive your information in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

11 Cookies & similar technologies

We keep cookies to a minimum. The Site uses cookies (or equivalent local storage) only for:

• Essential operation of the Site (e.g., remembering form state across navigation).
• Aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics.

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

12 Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information — secure transport (TLS), access controls, vendor due diligence, and minimal data retention. No system is perfectly secure; please use common sense and only share information through the Site that you would be comfortable sending us by email.

13 Children

The Site is intended for business users. It is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under the age of 16.

14 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on the Site.
